UGC or “User-Generated Content” refers to any form of content generated on any type of social media platform, discussion forum, or wiki page. Photos, videos, audio, text, testimonials, and even comments are classified as UGC. Businesses use UGC in ads/marketing campaigns to increase brand trust, authenticity, and relatability in the eyes of consumers. And UGC creators are the people that create it.
